Better Man

Better Man is not the kind of music film you might expect. Instead of simply telling the story of Robbie Williams, the film takes a very unusual approach by showing him as a computer generated chimpanzee. At first, the idea sounds strange, but it actually helps make the story more interesting and emotional.

The film follows Robbie from his early years through his rise to fame. We see his time with Take That, his decision to leave the group, and his journey as a solo artist. Along the way, the film explores both the exciting and difficult sides of becoming famous.

What makes Better Man stand out is the way it shows the pressure that can come with success. Robbie has everything many people dream about, including fame, money, and millions of fans. However, he also struggles with insecurity, addiction, relationships, and the expectations placed on him.

The chimpanzee idea might seem like a joke at first, but it becomes surprisingly meaningful. It allows the audience to see Robbie as someone who can feel like an outsider, even when he is surrounded by people. It also makes some of the more emotional moments feel different from a traditional music biography.

The music is another major part of the experience. Songs that many people already know are brought to life through energetic performances, making the film feel like a concert as well as a personal story.

Better Man shows that fame does not automatically make someone happy. Behind the performances and success, there is still a person trying to understand themselves. It is funny, emotional, and completely different from most music biopics, which is exactly what makes it memorable.
